Who is Jenna Eatough?

The Jenna

Once upon a time when I was in Jr High and home sick from school, I was sitting in the living room talking with my mother and oldest sister. I don’t remember what brought the conversation around to it, but we were discussing the future. My sister commented that she could see me becoming an artist to which my immediate response was that I could not draw well. She responded she had not meant in visual art, but as a writer. That one fateful conversation clarified for me what I love to do: writing.

My favorite is Science Fiction and Fantasy. I am working on several poems, short stories, and novels. I write in both genres. My science fiction tends more toward social aspects then hard science. I enjoy combining elements from both as well.

Oddly enough when I was in college I discovered another passion: cross stitching. More recently I have begun to defy my own belief in my drawing capabilities and I have begun designing cross stitch patterns.

I grew up in Provo, Utah and love escaping into the nearby mountains as frequently as possible. I attended Brigham Young University where I graduated in International Politics with two minors: English and Computers and the Humanities. Since graduating I’ve held a variety of jobs. Currently I work at a local college and love it.
