I froze at the question.
Turning, Mislav’s head rolled banging into mine. “Uhh. . .” The sterile walls provided no inspiration.
Chemistry
Lune had watched her dancing under the generated starlight. Men swarmed her, pulsars in the dark. She ignored them approaching him herself. Illerian. Her name as exotic as her species.
Shrouded
Fog curled around Dijana shrouding her goal and footing. Hands stinging after finding yet another root, mud and grass joined that already dotting her skit and she shoved herself to her feet.
Dolls
Cool air rushed out as the door whooshed open at Edan’s approach. The M-13X was laid out on the table, diagnostic cables dangling. He perched on a stool. “What happened here?” he asked into the silence
Haze Bound
The air crawled into him until the spiced air became his own. Mind drifting with the haze, his head wobbling tracking a plume. He was aware of the chamber’s harsh stone, but only barely.
