Mist Glen Moon, a poem by Author Jenna Eatough

Come walk hidden from the sun / Wrapped within this misty night / Where the shiver of a leaf / Is a whisper in the rounds / That upon the cradle’s walls / In hushed revelry rebounds / The Alseas song throughout / Here beneath the moon’s invite

For flitting through deepening veil / The dreaming moonlights taking / Bright murmurs from the mist / And with its light creating / Realms held luminous within / Clouds and boughs’ twisted plaiting / While marvel keeps cool vigil / Against discordant waking

Then here illusions flourish / Nurtured in the rugged height / As the dancers shadow steps / Till their movements freely spring / And the walls echo forward / What the rippling glens sing / Come walk hidden from the sun / Wrapped within this misty night
